The Balsa Advantage Boards in Action Buolding Balsa Boards as Art Rider Gallery Contact Us

We pride ourselves on building our boards, not just shaping them. The process starts with hand selecting the best quality pieces of balsa and redwood availible. The wood is worked by hand and with small power tools with the same precision used to build fine pieces of cabinetry. After extensive chambering, the board is shaped and sanded. While most of the material is balsa, redwood is used for stringers, nose blocks and tail blocks. More exotic wood can be used for nose blocks, tail blocks and inlay.

When we say custom, we mean it. Whatever your balsa board needs are, we can meet them. Length, shape and width are only the beginning. Our boards are can be fit for you, so you don't have to settle for a board that rides too high or low. Custom artwork can also be incorporated in your board.
